Back To School in Volusia County…Freedom From Taxes

First day back to school here in Volusia County, Florida is August 20th!

2007 Tax Free Days for Sales Tax here will begin at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, August 4, 2007, through midnight, Monday, August 13, 2007.

Our tax break applies to clothing and related items with a sales price of $50 or less,books with a sales price of $50 or less and school supplies with a sales price of $10 or less.
 
Everyone has their minds on back to school shopping. I guess I  should go shopping too!

   Janis – of course you knew about this in advanced and posted it on the 4th. I just wrote about it yesterday after my 12 year old almost gave me a heart attack that it was finished.
   I’m getting uniforms and book supplies tomorrow.
