What is Port Orange FL Thankful For!
November 22nd, 2007 Categories: Daytona Beach Events, Port Orange Real Estate
Thanksgiving is finally here and I’ve made the cranberries and stuffing to take to my sister Donna’s house.
Got the TV on and watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade which makes me wish I was in NYC for the holidays!
I promised myself I would spend this day with my family and take the day off from blogging and real estate.
For many of us, this is the one time of the year when we take time to notice the blessings in our lives.
So here I am to make this one post today and reflect on what I am thankful for and in no particular order:
- I am thankful for my health
- I am thankful for a very loving and considerate husband and family, extended family and friends
- I am thankful that I live in freedom in the USA
- I am thankful for the men and women who protect our country
- I am thankful for the medicine that keeps my mother’s condition in check and for the Flordiez family who take care of her
- I am grateful for the work I do and all our clients
- I am thankful for the Real Estate Tomato Vine and all the blogosphere
- I am thankful for my sister Donna
What are you thankful for??

Janis - what a great thought! We are also spending time reflecting on what we’re thankful for - having friends like you is one!
[…] and I sit here in Clearwater Florida today, like our Port Orange FL Realtor friend, our thoughts are not about “real estateâ€. Today we’re reflecting on all The Things […]
As I look back on the past 2 days, I am especially thankful for my 2 healthy children. They are very young and they enjoyed every moment of Thanksgiving, and then just overflowed with excitement when we broke out the Christmas decorations on Friday. Such innocence and joy is something I hope we all never lose in our life. Thanks to my Port Orange real estate friends for a great post that got me all emotional early this morning. May your holiday season be filled with joy and Port Orange real estate success.
In a country that probably works too much,Thanksgiving is the one day we share and can put work aside and dedicate ourselves to the things of lasting importance in our lives. Thanks Janis for the reminder…Terry McDonald
Janis - Port Orange has many reasons to be thankful, as we all do. I think it should be a daily exercise, remembering all we are thankful for. I also have a sister, Donna, who is my best friend! Yep, I am thankful for her….Paula
Hi Janis - I am thankful for my family and health and all the things we should never take for granted, but I’m also thankful for my Internet Friendships like yours…..who would have thought blogging would place such incredible relationships on the palm of our hands!
Hope you had a great one!
Janis,
I love the simplistic approach of this post. When I read it I can feel the sincerity in your voice and I know without a doubt, that this Thanksgiving you are truly thankful.
I am thankful that I have had the opportunity to get to know you through the Real Estate Tomato and Port Orange Juice. I love how you put the squeeze on Real Estate in Port Orange, FL. Hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving.
Chad
Hey, I’m a little late here but none-the-less wanted to make sure I extended my wish to you and your family for a great holiday. Donna will be very glad that you didn’t put your thanks in any order…I got a chuckle out of that.
The best of all bests are the children during the holidays…enjoy those wide eyes and awe stuck faces…they will last in your memory as they have mine for many years to come.
Happy Holidays!!
I try my best to keep a thankful journal- life’s a blessing! I’m thankful I woke up, the sun is shining, and I live in Myrtle Beach!
