You missed a great event this past weekend if you didnt attend Venetian Bays First Annual Music Festival on Saturday Dec. 15th!! It was a great outdoor event open to the public at the Town Center from 12 Noon till 7PM!!When we first arrived it was impossible to miss the Clock Tower and fountain surrounded by families sharing the spirit of holiday fun! The Venetian Bay Music Festival was a great way to gather the community together to sing, laugh, eat (funnel cakes and gator tail) and enjoy the Town Center! Many brought their lawn chairs and relaxed to the music while the kids played.
We had the opportunity to meet some really great residents of Venetian Bay. A family in particular that stands out in my mind was Chuck, Mary Jo, with their daughter, Xia Sha, a cute little 4 year old who loved to have her picture taken!
The Master of Ceremony was Mr. Dick Cuchetti-Conti. There was no shortage of musical entertainment! The stage featured performances by Jerry Sanders & Seminole Ridge Bluegrass from 12:00 till 1:30; Dixie Rex Band Country from 1:45 till 3:30 and MaxQ Classic Rock from 4:00 till 5:30 . The event ended with the Christmas Finale from 6:00 till 7:00. Admission was free and food and drinks were available to purchase.
We had a great time at the festival and look forward to upcoming events we are sure Jerry Johnson has planned in the near future for Venetian Bay New Smyrna Beach residents!
By the way, Venetian Bay Town and Country Club is a concept similar to that of Disneys Celebration with an old World feel.Imagine a city within a city, a place that gives you the feel and style of Italy.
