SHort sales are being a pain though. Don't get responses back quickly at all and it seems the banks are raising the prices which is again causing the bidding phenomena!! An attorney recently said that if you didn't do a short sale and did a foreclosure instead you would then be responsible for that "debt" through a a bank issued deficiency judgement - people in this situation should defintitely give you and Marti a call to be their real estate advocate and consultant. :) Janis - this is really well done - there are so many misunderstandings out there.
