This is the final countdown for the Homebuyer Tax Credit Deadline!! We’re here to keep you apprised of the last push of the April 30 deadline as the two federal tax credits draw near.
Tip of the day: Tax credit for repeat buyers is $6500 or 10% of the purchase price whichever is less. Tax credit for the first time homebuyers ( and whose who last owned a home 3 or more years ago) is $8000 or 10% of the purchase price whichever is less.
Don’t waste time!!! Start your search using our unique home search tool and sign a sales contract by April 30 and close by June 30th in order to be eligible!
In addition, the homebuyer tax credit applies to the purchase of a new principal residence costing less than $800,000 or less, and some income restrictions/limitations.
