No you can’t walk your dog on Daytona Beach but they are permitted on the boardwalk. Cars are allowed on the beach but no dogs!

If you want to take your dog to the beach, Smyrna Dunes Park at the northern tip of the New Smyrna Beach peninsula is your best bet to take Fido to the beach. This is as close as you get to the Daytona Beach area. 
Your dog must be on a leash in the park, but that won’t stop him from enjoying the picnic area and three miles of elevated boardwalks that cross the sand dunes. You can walk out to the observation tower to see if you can spot any bottlenose dolphins swimming in the inlet.
